CARE
Give your Lamu jewelry the love and respect it deserves so that it always looks as shiny as the first day.
Take them off before exercising or going to bed to avoid scratches and loss. Store them in their original bag, away from heat and sunlight, and to keep them shiny, use a polish suitable for brass or silver. Remember, take them off before taking a bath and apply perfumes or lotions before putting on your jewelry.
By following these simple but effective tips, your jewelry will be ready to pass from generation to generation, keeping its charm and meaning alive.

MATERIALS AND SUSTAINABILITY
Our meticulously selected materials are an ode to sustainability and style. From the shiny brass, which is mostly recycled from locks and hinges, to the sophisticated charm of glass transformed from used bottles, each component speaks to a sustainable aesthetic.
We don't stop there: the horn and bone elements in our jewellery, rescued from the Rift Valley, and wood from local workshops in Nairobi, give what others would consider 'waste' a glamorous second life.
Furthermore, our passion for the Earth extends to our packaging. Every detail, from the box to the brochure, is designed to be as eco-chic as you, using certified or recycled paper and maintaining our goal of becoming a zero waste company.
FREQUENT QUESTIONS
Do all jewelry have a guarantee?
Each Lamu jewelry comes with a two-month warranty from the moment you receive it. Because your peace of mind is our priority.
Will I receive the jewelry exactly as I see it in the photo?
At Lamu, each jewel is a handmade masterpiece, loaded with exclusivity and personality. That being said, no two pieces are identical; Each one has its own unique shine and nuances.
Although we strive to make each piece of jewelry as close to its photo as possible, uniqueness is our signature. So yes, you can find variations, especially in color, especially in our jewelry made with recycled glass or horn.
A small detail to consider: colors and shades may vary slightly depending on the device from which you browse our site. But don't worry, your jewelry will be a faithful representation of what you see, but with a touch of uniqueness that makes it exclusively yours.
Are Out of Stock Items Replenished?
If you love a piece, but it is out of stock, be patient. Our jewelry is handmade and travels from Kenya, so we cannot predict its availability.
So if you see something that steals your heart, and it's available don't wait!
